Awwwwwww thank you guys for being so caring and encouraging!! It makes the long hours somewhat bearable...hehe. Even though it is pretty tiring, I am actually liking work a lot, I am learning tons of new things and the project I'm working on is very interesting! I actually got off work before 11PM tonight so I decided to blog! haha.
I have not been wearing very much makeup to work because I simply don't have time in the mornings, I much rather catch up on some much-needed sleep than spend the time to do makeup. I've learned a lot of things about makeup at work so far and I want to share with you guys!
#1. Portable concealers/touch up pens are your best friend!! I have a newfound appreciation for those clicky concealer/touch up pens that I used to find very annoying, like the YSL Touche Eclat. I keep it in my desk at work and touch up during the late afternoon to look more awake, it is not a concealer but I simply dab some under my eyes, top of cheekbones, forehead, and nose bridge for highlight and it TOTALLY makes me look 10x more awake and refreshed. Super easy and quick! I used to think Touche Eclat was useless but now I think I finally "get it"!!
#2. Facial sprays are your second best friend!! I like the idea of face spritzers but I never remember to use them. Now when I am working for 12+ hours under air-conditioned office and in front of the computer all day, my skin feels totally parched! I keep my Mario Badescu Facial Spray at my desk and spritz my face when my skin feels dehydrated, and the cooling mist helps me stay awake and alert!
#3. Eye drops are your third best friend!! Hahaha this one is kind of a no brainer, my eyes get pretty red and dry when I am tired, so eye drops are a must to keep them moisturized. According to my optometrist, I actually am a "half blinker" which means when I blink, my eyes do not close all the way, so I sort of half blink and because of this my eyes are more prone to dryness. So I keep my trusted bottle of Systane with me at all times. These eye drops are awesome! But I really want to try out those cool Japanese Rohto eye drops that are supposedly like "crack for your eyes" haha.
Those are the 3 beauty lessons that I've learned so far, I would love to hear you guys share your own beauty tips for long days at the office! :)

That necklace is pretty! I never thought about facial sprays, but that sounds like something I need to stash at work now :)
I definitely support all three of your new best friends ^^ And though I miss more frequent updates, I think the internship sounds super-exciting! So don't worry about your readers - we'll still be here when you have time to blog again :)
And lastly, OMG I love that necklace. Gorgeousness personified.
This Bling Bling necklace looks very exciting! Very different design! Looks cool!
Awwww, I'm glad you're learning lots of new things and enjoying the work at least - you must be so tired! And I TOTALLY agree with you on the face mists and eye drops! I've started using one by L'Occitane too haha. Interesting thoughts on the Touche Eclat though! I always thought it was kind of useless too, hehe.
Beautiful necklace!
Good luck and take care of yourself! :D
my comments are going to be all out of order b/c I'm looking through my dashboard, haha...facial sprays are a great pick me up during the day - I have a little travel bottle that I fill with Hadasui in my bag for the same purpose!
I'm a half blinker as well, lol - one of my eye docs told me I have a specific dry spot on my eyes because my eyelids don't completely touch while I'm asleep =T so I have to use this gel stuff whenever they're really dry....the Rohto Lycee drops are kiiiiiiickass drops (square pink bottle) - they feel kinda minty/cooling to wake you up, and they do a good job of actually keeping your eyes moist :)
