Hi everyone, my classes for this semester are officially over! Time to start studying for finals... T_T. So I won't be updating very much this week and the next because I will be cramming like crazy for finals haha. Sooo before I disappear for a week or two I wanted to do a fun little giveaway, my FIRST giveaway!
You all know that I am a huge lip balm lover, so I wanted to give away some of my favorite lip balms ever for you to try. This giveaway is open to EVERYONE around the world, and the rules are very simple, all you have to do are the following:

My favorite lipbalms are Burt's Bees Pomegranate Replenishing lipbalm and La Mer lipbalm (in a pot). The Burt's Bees one is like a lip tint, very red and moisturising. The La Mer is amazing! It has a hint of mint and doesn't taste artificial at all, plus it's so smooth. It is a bit expensive though... :( Good luck to everyone on the giveaway!

My go-to lip balms (no order):
1) Vaseline Cherry Lip Therapy (even though the one I have is all melted and has no more cherry flavor, oops!). I love it because it keeps my lips plump even until the morning.
2) Shiseido Sun Protection Lip Treatment SPF 36 PA++. Love this! It does leave a little white cast, but only if you super-layer it on.
My favorite lip balm would have to be the MAC lip conditioner. It's the only balm I have really ever tried. I hate the waxiness of chapsticks and all. The lip conditioner is very moisturizing, smells yummy, and glides right on.

thanks for holding this fun giveaway! my favorite lipbalm is the Shills Vanilla Milk lip balm. I first read about it on Fuzkittie's blog and purchased it through ebay. i LOVE this lipbalm. smells great, comes in a super cute tub and most importantly really moisturizes my super dry lips.

well i loove my lancome juicy tubes! they are super glossy and shimmery and ofcourse, cant forget about carmex =] love that stuff because i have such dryying lipss & it helps with that ALOT!!

my favorite lip balm is sorta like a balm/tinted gloss. it's from TheBalm, their balmshelter tinted gloss with SPF 17. it's really light and doesn't feel like i have gloss on my lips, and it smells good! it's not really supposed to give you that much color hence the word "tinted". :P

Thanks for having the giveaway :) I am a follower, and my favorite lip balm at the moment is the Lypsyl lip balm in original formula. It's made with "pure swedish beeswax" and comes in this cute tube that has a slider on the side for you to push up to get the product out. The slider has a honey bee on it for you to hold onto, which is really cute. I like this because I like lip balms that help my lips to retain moisture throughout the night, and when I use Lypsyl, my lips still felt moisturized in the morning as if I've just applied them. Also, I love the convenience and the cute packaging of it. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is a plus to me.

i like Smith's rose bud because it soothes chapped lips, leave a little pretty tint. it can also be used on any chapped skin on anyway, very versatile!! ohh the tins huge so it'll last ages haha

My favorite lip balm... is... lol, I have so many. I think as far as balms go, Soapalaya Soaps Green Tea Lip Butter (soapalayasoaps.etsy.com) is my favorite. It's a very emollient, softening and moisturizing balm. I have ridiculously dry chapped, irritated lips and am allergic to lots of things, so this one's like, amazing for working pretty well while not giving me hives along my lipline... lol.
Another one of my favs is Dr. Haschuka's Lip Treatment Stick. It smells a bit funny, but when my lips are REALLY cracked, it does a pretty good job at healing. Much more expensive though.
Then, for things that aren't balms, per se, Physicians Formula's Plump Potion is amazing. It's very hydrating (a teensy bit plumping maybe) and it works as an excellent peel. When I have cracked flakes, I goop this on for ~1/2-1hr, and then I'm able to rub off the dry flakes without ripping/tearing my lips. Nothing else (soft toothbrush, washcloth, sugar scrub, etc) works for me but this.

I would say that my favorite lip balm would be the Yu-be lip therapy. Even thought it doesn't smell super fruity or minty, I still love it. It is great at moisturizing my lips. I love that it stays moisturizing and does not leave a film on my lips after a couple of hours. I still have it on in the am when I put it on before bed.
I love love love the Nivea Kiss Of Moisture (stick form with the dark blue cap). Super moisturizing and I'm actually almost done using it!
ooh a giveaway! I think my favourite lip balm is the Nivea Q10 which I think you have already haha. As for tinted lip balm I love MAC Popster, and The Body Shop Cranberry shimmer balm.

I have over 50 lip balms, so picking a favourite is nearly impossible >:-).
But here are my faves of the moment ;D...
Nivea Sun when outside in the sun >:-D. Has SPF :D, and I know some people hate it, but I actually like the colour it turns my lips ;).
Bonnebell Cotton Candy and Burt's Bees Honey balm when indoors :D.
And my (received from a swap ^_^) new potted balm by a brand called Olivia, before I go to sleep :).
These are just the ones I reach for lately XD.
i love good ole' fashion chapstick :) but i really really like softlips. smells good, i love the slim applicator and it's just.. awesome! i also tried smith's rosebud salve and i'm not too partial with it :\ so i can wipe it out (the top part i mean) and send it to you in our swap if you wanna try it!
3 different lip balms in 3 different locations.
in my purse I use MAC HK Pink Fish. Love the smell, love the pinkish tint and gotta love the SPF15!
in my gym bag I use Natural Ice in Cherry. I've used this chapstick since I was in middle school. It reminds me of the See's candy sugar sticks in the red (cherry) flavor. It gives a icy tingle feeling after application which I love!!
and lastly, on my nightstand, I use Vasaline Cherry Lip Therapy. Ever since I got braces and I only wear my rubber bands @ night, I need to keep my lips nice and moist. This product does the job and my lips are nice and smooth in the morning :)

Awe! I love lip balms too! And also I have two favorites :)
First is : Neutrogena Anti - ageing lip balm, the reason why i like it : it's give me amazing moisturizing, the liquid consistency very suit for winter or cold weather! Very great stuff!
The second one is Aveeno lip therapy or lip protectant. This stuff with a mint, it's give me effect of fat 'n sexy lips :)
I hope you try that lip stuffs too :)
haha do a letter after you are done w/ finals, I'd love to read it :) Are you excited about finishing all the classes? How many finals do you have this time? I stopped by campus today and it seemed so empty already! I think people are all hiding in the library or something, hahaha :p
Audrie, my absolute favourite lipbalm (maybe I should just call it lip care product) - my HG is the CLINIQUE Repairwear Intensive Lip Treatment.
I mean, I'm usually not concerned with very dry or chapped lips, but once I apply this, my lip get ohh... sooo soft and smooth. I also like to apply it over lipstick, since it gives a nice shine. The texture is gorgeous!
Ok, only downside, it's quite pricey for being "just" a lip care product. ;)

It is sheer, glossy, moisturizing and smells like heaven. It leaves my lips smooth and moist with a natural hint of pink.

I think my fav is the smith's rosebud salve. i've never tried anything like it, just after the first application, my lips remained smoooooth with a hint of shine which i likie. it also smells so nice and doesn't feel sticky. it's like everything i look for in a balm hahaha.
OMG, I have so many favourites I can't name them all! I'm fond of the thicker, non-waxy, buttery lip balms; I find the oily type lacking lasting power and protection from drying winds. I love Skinfood's Watermelon Shea Butter Lip Care Bar!
In the day, my favourite balm is Natio's SPF 30+ Vit E lip balm. It's waterproof for up to four hours and has high SPF. Awesome for Singapore!
If I'm happily out of the sun, I use Yes to Carrots Lip butter, in carrot flavour. I love the mild, slightly exotic carrot smell. Sometimes I use the Burts Bees Honey lip balm.
For sleep, I use The Body Shop's Stop Violence in the Home Shea Butter Lip Care Bar (if I got the name right?) because it really holds the moisture in.
Hi!!Nice Giveaway!!!!well,my favorite lip balm will definitely be Smith's Rosebud Minted Rose Lip Balm....It really heals my dry lips....and it's minty so i like it...it really made my lips feel soft....even my hubby is using it....:-)
oh i love the nivea lip balms, but another new favorite of mine are the korres lip butters! they are all natural products and they are really TDF! they're so smooth and i love the fact that they add a subtle tint that looks really natural! :) i think you'll totally love it! :D i have the quince and the pomegranate but they also have the guava which is white, clear on the lips :)
My favourite has got to be The Bodyshop Pink Grapefruit/Pamplemousse[whichever you prefer to call it O.O] because it's great for dry chapped lips and it's very creamy and also it's quite pale so it makes my lips seem less pigmented. =) and it's not too sticky.
oh, and it smells absolutely heavenly.

My fav is Carmex (no cherry but the normal one) .. it really helps me when is the cold weather and it also gives u ike a fresh touch (hard to explain ahaha) mmm I also like The Body Shop Vanilla Spice ... it was a special christmas edition in 2007 =) Thanks for this opportunity and I hope u have a good luck and good results with your exams :D

I loooove lip products! I'm always open to trying new balms and so I ended with Balm Balm bip balm (great ingredients, fragrance free).
The sad thing is that it's in a small pot and when my nails grow (I am addicted to nail polish too) I can't get it out of the pot.
But still, it's my fav product ever! So smooth, kind of oily (or creamy) and so pretty!
It's a shame it doesn't look more girly tho..

Hey Audrie! I've been following you on my google reader account so I guess that counts? haha I don't actually have a blogger account, but love to read beauty blogs. Anyway, I love using lip balms over lipstick/glosses and have to admit that I am a lip balm addict! haha I find them easier to apply throughout the day without having to check myself. I like the lip balms that come in tube form over the lip tins because I don't like sticking my fingers in the lip balms. However, I do use the tin lip balms from time to time since they're cuter in the tins. lol
My favorite tube lip balm is currently Dr. Hauschka Lip Care Stick. It has a medicine smell to it if you know what I mean, but it works great for moisturizing the lips. The smell isn't strong and it makes you feel like it is working to protect your lips. Also, I like Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer, there's no scent and it has SPF 15 (cheaper in price than the other one I mentioned before). Currently I am trying out the Yes to Carrots brand lip balms and their new lip tints, but I'm not sure if I like them yet. The only lip balm that I actually use at night that comes in a tin is Smith's Rosebud Salve. Hope you get the opportunity to try them out because they are my fav! =]
Okay, I had to think about this one. I am a lip balm, lip gloss fanatic. Anything lip related I am in love with.
My list includes some 'glosses' because I like glosses that are nourishing like lip balms and I use them both interchangeably. My criteria for a good lip product is that it is nourishing, hydrating, and gives a pretty glow to my lips.
The number one balm I use right now is from Whole Foods. It's all natural. It's called Badger and I like the cool mint one. And the bonus is that it's fair trade and organic!
I also love Bare Escentuals Buxom lip. They are really pretty and glossy and give your lips a cool feeling that I really like. It plumps the lips too which is nice. I also like their 100% natural lip gloss. It's new and very nice.
Nars lip lacquer is also very nice. It's in a convenient pot and the color is gorgeous. It also keeps my lips moist. I like the color Baby Doll. It goes with Angelika :)
Okay one last one is also from whole foods. Its called Eskimo Kiss by Biggs and Featherbelle. It's minty too. And ONE more- Nivea rejuvenation!

Lip gloss used as a balm: Benefit California kissin. (For girls with cool skin tone, use too much of it will make you look dead)

Venus & Mars Lip Detox is a favorite. It's from a local brand here in the PH. Makes my lips oh so soft because it has emu oil in it.
I also like Nivea Lip Care in Cherry Kiss. It's lightly tinted and is a great lipbalm/lipstick-in-one.

You're doing a contest! I think ever since I bought from your jewelry blog I've become more of an active blogger! (though it only consists of posting comments rather than just reading at the moment~ hehe) I want to put in my entry too! I love lip balms~ My favourite is Smith's Rosebud Salve (like so many others!) and I use it every night to keep my lips moist during the night. But I find that its perhaps TOO hydrating (if thats possible) and I use the Nivea Hydra Care during the day under my lipstick! My favourite would be the Rose Petal Salve from Rose & Co Apothecary - an English brand. I am really pleased with it, most lip balms leave a whitish cast on my lips, but this doesn’t and it leave my lips looking glossy and luscious hee!
I really like my lips now, they aren't dry and chapped anymore.. I just wish that I'm more diligent in applying it ahaha

I use C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint (Tint No. 1137) that my friend gave me. I know it's a lipgloss, but I use whenever my lips get chapped. It's minty flavored and to me that's a plus. This beats me using my Vaseline and regular Chapsticks and since this is a lipgloss, its sorta 2 in 1 to me, so that i moisturize my lips while also making my lips look pretty :)

My favorite lip balm/gloss would have to be Co.Bigelow Mentha Lip tints. They have clear and various sheer colors.
It has a really refreshing tingle when you first apply it and I love the minty freshness.

My fav. lip balm is Chapstick 100% Naturals Lip Butter. It moistens my lips immediately and is very long lasting! i reapply like once in 24 hrs! xD and it serves as a good primer for lipsticks too bc it smooths and softens your lips so that the color would glide on seamlessly.
If you want a delicious smelling flavored one, I'd recommend The Body Shop Born Lippy Lip Balm in Passion Fruit! it smells LIKE HEAVEN! xD hehe well, more like a tropical paradise!! and it does the job! :)

I've just followed your blog, but I'm a long time silent reader.
I'm constantly in search of the perfect lip balm because I suffer from dreadfully chapped lips. But some of my current favourites are:
*Vaseline Lip Therapy with Aloe Vera
*Lucas' Papaw Ointment
These two I use after exfoliating my lips at night, and I wake up with soft, smooth lips.
I also use:
*Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate
*The Body Shop Lip Butter
I find the Korres one to be very moisturising, while also giving a bit of colour to your lips. The Body Shop is a close second, but Korres is still more moisturising.

Hej, well so far fav gloss or balm is 1) Piz Buin lip balm it is so soft and moisterising smells like vanilla and.. its SPF 20 so it protects your lips too, and 2)Juicy Tubes from Lancome the Limited Edition one that smells and tastes like Turkish Delight! the fiance fav. Must say since getting the Piz Buin lip balm the fiance asked for one too and he loves it now.xoxo

I have tried tons and tons of lipbalms because I have had sensitive lips ever since I got a really bad sunburn one time. I have found that most lipbalms I purchase start smelling funny after a while or feel gross on my lips after a while. My favorites, however, (sorry for my long comment!) are Burts Bees (the original mint flavor/scent), MAC lip conditioners, and plain old Vaseline. I use Vaseline especially when my lips are being sensitive and difficult.

Hi! I guess I'd consider myself somewhat of a lip balm addict. Not because I own a lot of them, but because I reapply them like CRAZY. At school I get a lot of odd looks because I seriously put on lip balm every half hour or so... I just can't help it! I can't stand the feeling of dry lips! So anyway, my favorite lip balm is probably The Body Shop's Shea Lip Butter. This I don't use to put on at school (I use old school Chapstick), but I usually put on a whole lot before bed to last the night, and then I put some on in the morning before I leave the house. I love it because it has a really slick feel to it, instead of a waxy feeling, like some lip balms do. I haven't tried too many different kinds, but this one is a winner so far! Also, when I need intense treatment, I use Carmex before bed. I haven't tried any of the lip balms you're giving away, but they look so interesting! Hope my suggestions help some!
I can't live without lip balms! My current favorite is Carmex Original Lip Balm. I apply it at night before sleeping to make my lips soft in the morning.:D
